on Feb.18, 2012

I bought myself a new keyboard and played around with it a little bit. The outcome was this improvisation. Ah, those sweet sounds of a Steinway…

Well, the neighbor’s dogs didn’t ran away so I thought it should be save to share it without hurting anyone’s ears. So here it is. Just click on the picture below to open the MP3. Enojy!

New documentary BACK TO THE CABIN!

on Okt.06, 2011

Today my new documentary BACK TO THE CABIN will hit the stores. It’s a doc about the making of Steven R. Monroe’s  I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE (2011) , the fantastic remake of the cult classic of the same name from the 70′s. I SPIT is about a young female writer who is brutalized during her cabin retreat by five strangers. She then seeks revenge on her attackers, after they left her for dead.

We sat down with the lovely Sarah Butler who plays the lead character Jennifer Hills. Sarah tells us why she hesitated to play the part at first, what it was like to shoot the film’s most crucial scenes and many other tales of adventures during the shoot in the deep south. This doc is available exclusively on the German release of I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE. You can’t find it anywhere else in the world. Check out Amazon.de for the DVD and Blu-ray!

New Short Film: THE LAST RAIN

on Jun.20, 2011

Wow! What a rush! I wrote the script for my new short film “DER LETZTE REGEN” (a.k.a. “THE LAST RAIN”) Friday Night, we shot it Saturday and the first rough cut was finished on Sunday Morning at 6 am. It took us only about 30 hours to make a full 7 minute movie from scratch. I’m still struck by awesomeness (is that even a real word?) over my fantastic cast & crew who after all made the whole project possible in the first place.

“DER LETZTE REGEN” is a dark drama with a twist about two women who want to reconcile after a huge fight until they discover the shocking truth about the real reason for their separation.

Starring Yvonne Pajonkowski, Sorina Kiefer and Joachim Birzele and filmed by director of photography Christopher Dillig, the movie will be completed in the next few weeks.

Check out the first picture from the movie below.

The nominations for the TERROR FILM FESTIVAL CLAW AWARDS has been announced!

on Okt.19, 2010

The upcoming Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia has announced that NO HARD FEELINGS has been nominated in three categories for the CLAW AWARDS:

Best Lead Actress (Claudia Lenzi)

Claudia

Best Supporting Actor (Talin Lopez)

Best Drama Short Film

NHF

The festival takes place this weekend in Philadelphia, USA. Claudia and Talin are competing against screen legends Joan Collins (Tales from the Crypt, Denver Clan) and John DeLancie (Star Trek, Crank 2) in their respective categories. Which is pretty awesome if you ask me. The evil bitch from DENVER CLAN and the nothing less evil Q from STAR TREK together with my actors? Wow! Just… wow!
